Who’s On Your Team? Answer: I have NO idea! Recently, the National Basketball Association has confused me more than when I was trying to understand how the NFL decides who will get a wildcard spot, as in: [The Bengals can get in if a Jets loss is combined with a Denver Broncos defeat at the … Continue reading »

5 Reasons Why I’m Mad at LeBron
For the record, I am aware that the NBA is a business. I believe that players should feel free to make the decisions that are best for them and their families. You’ll notice that I’m not mad at LeBron because he left Cleveland. I probably would have stayed, but that’s just me. As a Lakers fan, I was hoping he would go somewhere else and level the playing field some. I even hoped that the Heat would turn out to be all that they thought they would be already. Free Agency Question: Is LeBron a “Media Whore?”
As a true NBA FAN, I do not like seeing the league taken for this crazy ride that is all about “LeBron watching” and not about every other multitalented player who is a free agent right now. Play, and Prevent Chronic Disease?
Sports and exercise could help with the reduction and subsequent eradication of preventable chronic problems like obesity. If we would reverse our attitude about exercise and look at it as a life-saving, fun activity instead of a bothersome chore, we would keep our life expectancy numbers up, enjoy our modern conveniences, and still have the quality of life that we all want.

(and anyone else who wants to know basic stuff about this awesome sport) Lots of women like football, some of us LOVE it, and I think that it would appeal to more women if what’s happening during a football game was more obvious. This sport requires superior skill, strict training and athleticism, especially if a … Continue reading »

Kobe versus Jordan: NO COMPARISON!
A little over a year ago I wrote this, and I stand behind every word. Kobe Bryant is the best player in the NBA today, and a superstar in his own right. Michael Jordan is a legendary Hall of Famer, and still has the most popular athletic shoe brand after all these years. Ever wonder why people insist on comparing Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan? Let’s explore why this is NOT something to do. Continue reading »
